HOW
TO PLACE AN ORDER
This page should help you with ordering and customizing your own
unique invitation or announcement card.
Ordering
is quite simple. Here are the steps.
1) First, give us a call at
1-718-676-9146
to open an account, to tell
us about the card code you are ordering, quantity, and any other
specs and to make a payment. This starts the process.
2) Now you have a little bit of homework to do.
Here
are your steps in customizing your invitation:
STEP
1. CHOOSE A BORDER:
Pick
a border by following this link.
This is an optional step. Borders enhance your invitation. There is
NO add'l charges for printing borders. Each border has a code #.
Write it down, so that you can refer to it in your email to us.
Please
note that Embossed border scrolls cannot have a custom border - as
the border is pre-set on the paper. On all other scrolls, border can
be customized to any you choose.
STEP
2. CHOOSE A SYMBOL:
Pick
a symbol by following this link,
or send us your own symbol. This is an optional step. Symbols enhance
your invitation. There is NO add'l charges for printing symbols. Each
symbol has a code #. Write it down, so that you can refer to it in
your email to us.
STEP
3. CHOOSE A FONT:
Pick
a font by following this link, or send us your
own font in a .TTF format. Jot down the name of the font, so that you
can refer to it in your email to us.
STEP
4. WRITE YOUR WORDING for the cards:
Of
course, to print your invitations, we need your wording. You can get
some ideas of what you can write by browsing our wording
templates. Or you can write your own original text. Feel free to
be creative. Many clients have us print their favorite quote, poem,
etc. Lay it out the way you wish. If someone else already did the
layout for you, even better.
We
can print in any language required. As long as you send
it to us - we can print it!
STEP
5. DECIDE ON THE RETURN ADDRESS:
Post
office requires that a return address be printed on the mailer
envelopes and rsvp envelopes. You will need to send this info to us as
well. We will print the return address that you tell us. This is not
always the shipping address.
STEP
6. PREPARE & SEND YOUR EMAIL TO US
Of
course, to print your invitations, we need your wording and your other
specs.
Send
us this information and attach your wording. Wording can be in any
format, such as a Word file, PowerPoint file, PDF file, or Notepad
file. Make sure to send wording for any additional add-on items that
you ordered, i.e. rsvp cards, rsvp envelopes, directions card, thank
you card, reception card, etc...

Upon
receipt of the above information, we will start the work on your
proofs. We can provide you with
colored jpeg proofs generally within 48 hours. You can then suggest
any changes that are required and we will re-do the proofs until they
are approved by you for printing.
Once you approve the proofs we generally need 3 weeks to print and
ship the cards. Time varies with Design number. Delivery takes another
3-7 days.
This timeline can be expedited, if necessary. There will be an
additional fee for rush orders. Please call us to discuss any rush
orders at 718-676-9146. Exact timeline can be confirmed with our sales
team.
